After graduating in optical engineering in Munich, Marille Hahne won a Fulbright Fellowship to study in Boulder, Colorado. There she worked with Stan Brakhage and other experimental filmmakers, and after one year applied to study filmmaking in Chicago towards a MFA Master of Fine Art Degree. Here is a selection of her films from that moment – from 1981 until 1998.
